Tool Offset Compensation

Pen plotters and some cutting plotters do not support tool offset compensation in their firmware. The result is rounded corners and mis-shapen characters especially at smaller sizes. Now you can simply enter the tool offset for the blade you are using and SignGo handles the tool compensation for crisp corners and smooth curves.

To use Tool Offset Compensation

1. Open the Cutcommand dialog (File, Cut)
2. Click on the Cut tab
3. Click on the Setup button. The driver options dialog appears
   
   
   
4. Define the tool offset by typing in to the entry box where indicated above.

Note: The tool offset value depends on the blade you are using. Check the documentation/packaging supplied with your blade or contact your blade supplier if you are not sure. A value of zero disables the tool offset compensation.
